Melting
SJIF Group has melting capacity spread across all its 3 foundry units. We ensure that pollution control equipments are installed at each location to minimise any effluents & for environmental protection.
Divided Blast Cupola Furnace
Used mainly for Grey Iron Casting, the divided blast cupola furnaces are available in capacities of 5 MT, 3 MT & 2 MT & are considered still as one of the most efficient and cost friendly way to melt grey iron. Together, they add rated capacity of close to 2000 MT per month of liquid metal at just 8 hours of daily operation making the total capacity one of the largest across Eastern India in foundry industry.
Induction Furnace
Within its fold, SJIF has 2 Induction furnaces of 1 MT each along with most modern pollution equipments & capacity to provide upto 1000 MT of metal a month. The furnaces are of Inductotherm make, which is world’s best & largest producer of Induction Furnaces based out of USA.
The furnaces are equipped with the latest IGBT technology which helps it to run efficiently & minimise the melting cost which are then passed on to our clients. We are now installing a single furnace 2 MT induction furnace for large size steel castings which will add another 1000 MT
Moulding
SJIF is the most versatile foundry with almost all types of moulding systems within its fold as per the current range of products. Moulding capabilities within our group of foundries is a mix of traditional & most modern ways of casting production –
